Setting Standards, Ethics

Setting standards and ethics is our best source of change and growth. It is at the root of every decision we make, whether we know it or not. Decide what you stand for. Set those standards as close to truth and God as you can, because they are the same thing.

1st:     Stop and give yourself a chance to choose right
2nd:    Take any negotiated disadvantage or penalty for having done the wrong thing and change your course
3rd:     End any unethical practices as you see them in yourself
4th:     Hold your standards, no matter the ethics of others
5th:     Take pride in your standards
6th:     Teach your children to stand for the right thing
7th:     Place yourself above no one
8th:    Hold your ethical ground until proven otherwise, then change
