Health & Wellness
The ongoing focus of our Committee is faith-based preventive health education for all ages. This is accomplished through Star articles, Bulletin Board displays, printed materials, and educational opportunities throughout the year for adults and children. Monthly blood pressure screenings are provided, and several visitation ministries are offered. A Prayer Shawl ministry was begun this year as a cooperative venture with the Women’s Fellowship Craft Group, and the Sunday Church School programs are presented in cooperation with the Board of Christian Ed. We sponsor an annual Blood Drive and participate actively in the Eastern District Lay Ministry Commission effort to expand Health and Wellness Ministries throughout our area. We invite your participation in our events and always welcome suggestions.
