Sunday School
Children and adults are invited to attend our Sunday School. Classes meet at 9:30 every Sunday morning, September through May.
If you have questions about curriculum, joining or volunteering, please send an email to our office and we’ll put you in touch with the appropriate teacher.
Adult Sunday School: Join us for adult Bible Study in the parlor or join the Coffee and Conversation group in the boardroom.
Children and Youth Sunday School: We offer classes for ages 3 through high school.
Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School is a long-running ministry outreach program which teaches children about the role God plays in their lives.
For one week each summer, children gather for three hours in the morning during which they hear Bible stories, participate in arts and crafts, play games, perform age-appropriate learning activities and various other activities constructed around a particular theme.
VBS kids take away life lessons about treating others with respect, a deeper understanding of religion and improved social skills. Younger kids get a feel for camp without having to go away overnight.

Confirmation
Confirmation begins for the young members of our church when they are in the eighth grade. Through a program of Bible study and education in Moravian history and the rites of the church, they affirm their faith and accept the responsibilities of adult membership.
Inquirer’s (New Members) Classes
If you are interested in learning more about East Hills Moravian Church and potentially joining our faith community, we encourage you to attend an Inquirer’s class which is a great way to meet our Pastor and to learn more about the foundation upon which the Moravian Church is built. You’ll also meet others like yourself in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.

Christmas Putz
A Putz is a centuries-old German tradition continued today in many Moravian churches. The Putz (pronounced pootz from the German word meaning to make beautiful) tells the story of the Nativity through narration, music and small illuminated scenes nestled among moss and rocks. Many of the items used in the display are handmade or have been donated by members of the congregation. Viewers sit in a darkened room and watch the story of the birth of Christ unfold.
Come see our Putz in December on Fridays between 6:00PM–8:00PM or Saturdays and Sundays between 3:00PM–8:00PM.
Adult, Child, and Spanish language versions are available upon request. Our facility is handicapped accessible. Groups should schedule by appointment. Please call 610-868-6481.
