| We're pleased to partner with Moravian Theological Seminary in providing a supportive congregational environment in which students can prepare for the work of ministry. Look for first-year student Josh Viste to become increasingly involved in church life here at EHMC. Below you'll find an introductory letter from Josh. Greet him warmly the next time you see him.

Let me take this time to say how excited I am to be working with Chris and Darrell and how much I look forward to meeting all of you! Chris asked me to take a few minutes and to tell you all a little bit about myself, so here I go. I was born in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on a cold winter day in December of 1984. Although I do not remember the weather on that particular day it is a rather safe bet seeing that Wisconsin has many very cold winters! I was the second son of John and Vickie Viste and brother to Chad. I was born into the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church, where I continue to attend when I am home. I graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in '03 and then attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wl. At Madison I received my BS degree in Psychology while also taking several classes in Educational Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I loved every minute of my time at the University of Wisconsin and often wish I hadn't left so soon. I graduated from there in the summer of '06 and immediately left there to come here to Bethlehem, PA. I have quickly become adjusted to life in Bethlehem and at Moravian Theological Seminary. I look forward to graduating from Seminary in '09 with a Master of Divinity degree and the tools to bring into ordained ministry in the Moravian Church. Since coming to Bethlehem I have taken on an addition to my family, a Toy Cock-a-poo whom I have named Levi. More recently I have also become engaged to Kate, my college girlfriend of 3 years. We hope to be married back in Sturgeon Bay, Wl in the summer of 2008. Thinking back, I feel I was called to ordained ministry several times during my childhood but most vividly during a church camp experience when I was in 7th grade. I made the choice to follow that call but often struggled with it throughout High School and even into College. There were so many other professions out there that paid a great deal more than ministry. The more I struggled with my call, the greater it became, until I had run out of excuses and finally fully embraced the plan that God had for my life. So here I am, ready to learn and ready to serve on the path that God has called me to. I am very excited to finally be placed in a church setting and even more excited to be at East Hills! East Hills seems to be everything that I was looking for in a church and I look forward to our time together.
