Sunday, May 11
Sunday Worship 8:30 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. This day is fully loaded with meaning! On the Hallmark calendar, it is Mothers' Day, often used as a wonderful reason for families to worship together! And on the church year calendar, it is the day of Pentecost. As is tradition in this congregation, the Rite of Confirmation is practiced on Pentecost. Five young people will confirm their faith during the 11:00 A.M. service in The Family Center. The 8:30 A.M. service is in The Sanctuary. 9:45 A.M. Sunday School |

Summer Brings Changes to Worship Times & StylesThe Worship Committee would like everyone to know that, beginning on June 1st and lasting through August 31st, the late service each Sunday morning will be offered in The Family Center. On June 1st, the 11:00 A.M. service will be an act of blessing for high school graduates, and on June 8th, our congregation acknowledges its 51st anniversary with Lovefeast. On Sunday, June 15th, worship times change as well. Beginning that day and continuing for the rest of summer, we will worship at 8:00 A.M. In The Sanctuary and at 9:30 A.M. in The Family Center. Additionally, the Worship Committee would like everyone to know that summer will provide us with an opportunity to occasionally express our worship in out-of-the-ordinary ways. Look for a few of our 9:30 A.M. services to be conducted in a "coffee house" style where we might meet less formally around tables, take more advantage of our Drama Team's ability to convey the Gospel, and find creative ways for people to participate more actively in the activity of worshiping God.
