EAST HILLS MORAVIAN CHURCH
2008 MISSION TRIP
Habitat for Humanity®

The '08 Habitat For Humanity EHMC Team

Are you age 16 or older and looking for something challenging, exciting, and different to do this summer? Join the East Hills Moravian Church Mission Trip and help us build houses with Habitat for Humanity. Yes, you'll put on old clothes and pick up a hammer. But you'll also put your faith into action, experience a new community, gain greater awareness of the need for decent, affordable housing and HAVE FUN! We have had great experiences the last six summers going to the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and our Mission Committee is again looking forward to supporting another trip, which is scheduled for
Sunday, July 13, 2008 through Saturday, July 19, 2008.

Will Work for Food!
Plans are shaping-up for this summer's mission trip, which is scheduled for
Sunday, July 13, 2008 through Saturday, July 19, 2008. At this point we expect
a full crew of twenty (20) youth and adults to participate in the week long adventure.

We are welcoming monetary donations to assist in purchasing food items for the trip.
Cash, checks made out to East Hills Moravian Church, and Giant gift cards are
all great methods to contribute. Before the trip certain nonperishable food
items will be bought or donated and we will purchase the remaining food for
the week once we are down at the worksite at the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Some items that could be donated are listed at right.

If you are able to donate cash, check, gift card, or any of these items,
please let trip coordinators Jay and Sue Larson know.

Secure your place on the trip by filling-out
and returning a Commitment Form
along with the $125.00 Commitment Fee.

Please contact Jay/Sue Larson or Steve/Lucy Thompson
for a Commitment Form
or if you have any questions.

2007 flicks

You can view the pics as a slideshow or flip through them individually. If you want to make prints of any of the images, you can just download the flickr images - they will print a fine 4x6. If you'd like a larger print, let me know and I'll re-size the image for you and send it in an appropriate size to make a high quality print.

Feel free to circulate the link to friends, family and the Habitat group on the Eastern Shore.

Thanks for an enlightening week in Virginia!!
