Community Yard Sale
EHMC Family Center
Saturday, August 23, 2025
8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Members of EHMC who are interested in selling items at our community yard sale are invited to reserve spaces now; before we start advertising this opportunity to the community in mid-May. We can accommodate as many as 30 vendor spaces. Vendors may pay for and use multiple spaces, if desired.

Like our last yard sale, venders will be responsible for their own items, including removal and offsite disposal of anything they do not sell. The fee will be $25 for a 10ft x 10ft space. Tables will be available free of charge upon request. Set up will be on Friday evening from 6PM to 8PM and on Saturday morning from 7AM to 8AM.

We plan to publicize the availability of spaces to church members during the months of March and April and to the broader community starting in May. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will begin to promote the yard sale to the public in July.

Our desire is for EHMC to host a community event that brings in folks from the neighborhood while raising some money for the church.

Please reserve your space by contacting Jay or Sue Larson.

Note: Louise Snyder will be organizing a church group to offer food and beverage concessions as a companion fundraiser during the event.
Mercy Bible Study
EHMC Chapel Room
Mondays from October 20, 2025 to November 17, 2025
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Confused, concerned or curious about immigration? East Hills Moravian Church will be hosting an in-person five-week Bible study entitled “Responding to God’s Call for Mercy: A Bible Study on Immigration”. Developed by the Moravian Church Northern Province Racial Justice Team, these sessions will include relevant scriptural texts, statements from the Moravian Covenant for Christian Living, and ample time for honest and respectful discussion. To complement the Bible study, you will hear personal stories from immigrants along with tangible and practical information. This study provides a faithful overview of immigration challenges and blessings, suggestions for ways to care for immigrant and refugee neighbors, and resources for further study. Register through the East Hills Office at 610-868-6481.
